===Disadvantages===
*Unsellable as they are part of standard equipment;
*Use up one kilogram with other standard equipment, no matter how many grenades you currently own;
*Expensive, no discounts for perks, £40 per grenade;
*Due to their long fuse, grenades are very vulnerable to [[Siren]] screams;
*Frag grenades bounce off of nearby fast flanking enemies, thus explode near the player or make them target practice for [[Husk]]s;
*Uncontrolled spam of frag grenades or any explosive will face retaliation spawns while [[Glossary#kiting|kiting]];
*Frag grenades blast radius can easily kill the thrower, if careless;
*May break welded doors and gates accidentally in a mayhem;
*With increased movement speed they gain on [[Difficulty#Suicidal|high difficulties]], specimens become better at avoiding frag and incendiary grenades;
*Frag and incendiary grenades are a hazard for teammates in small areas when friendly fire is active;
*([[Field medic]]) Very small area of effect for gas grenades compared to others;
*([[Firebug]]) [[Fleshpound]]s and [[Husk]]s are resistant against incendiary damage;
*([[Firebug]]) At first two levels, Firebug has no access to incendiary grenades;

*([[Support specialist]]) self-damage gets increased as well, making accidental self-killing more an issue.
